Simple Blackberry Oatmeal Bars recipe

Ingredients:

Yellow cake mix.
2 ½ cups of quick-cook oats.
¾ cup of melted butter.
12 oz of blackberry jam.
1 tablespoon of water.

Directions:

Combine the cake mix and oats.

Stir in the butter until the mixture is crumbly.

Put about 3 cups of mixture in a 9-inch by 13-inch pan and press firmly.

Combine the blackberry jam and water and spoon over the crumb mixture; spread evenly.

Cover with the remaining crumb mixture and make the top even by patting firmly.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes.

Allow to cool, then cut into bars.
